The Lookout Mountain Inn in 1916. Built by Charles Spencer Mann, who developed Laurel Canyon. The Inn burned down in 1920. I should note that a different Charles Spencer Mann built a real estate office at Kirkwood and Laurel Canyon Blvd years later. Neither Manns (pun sort of intended) were related to one another, but I can't help thinking that the newer Mann had to have benefited from having the same name. (Bizarre Los Angeles)
