“I was born in Utah, and we all went to England to live when I was quite a child. I studied music and things in Paris and Munich, and learned the violin. Then I had my chance, in ‘Dear Little Denmark’ – it never came to America – at the Prince of Wales Theatre, London. The rest I suppose you know. There was ‘The Pink Lady,’ ‘The Little Cafe,’ ‘The Debutante,’ and now the pictures. Though I adore pictures, I still like the footlights pretty well, and this fall I am going back in a production by Mr. Dillingham.”Hazel Dawn
