“The secret of ‘charm’ is ‘bullshit.'” — Tyrone Power, Jr.
“Tyrone Power was my ideal man.” — Sophia Loren
The Razor’s Edge (1946). Artwork by Norman Rockwell. Co-stars Gene Tierney, John Payne, Anne Baxter, Clifton Webb and Herbert Marshall.
Tyrone Powers‘ grave, located at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Section 8, Lot 265, near a pond.
His epitaph, taken from Shakespeare’s Hamlet, reads:
“Good Night Sweet Prince
and a flight of angels sing to rest”
It also happens to be the same one used for Douglas Fairbanks, Sr. (also buried at Hollywood Forever) and John Barrymore.

Your pages have been popping up in my researches lately–great work! I manage a site called birthdaydeathday.com, which… well you can see and grasp it easily enough (it’s a free site, with no ads or popups or even cookies or tracking of any kind, beyond what the host might be doing without my knowledge). I refine my pages almost daily, and I am constantly adding people and pictures and quotes. The site and the data date back to the beginning of the internet: I started it in 1996 or so, and it has moved around a lot, but it’s almost certainly the first of its kind and the only one that is still “pure.” So I hope you don’t mind that I occasionally snag a quote from you. Thanks and Cheers!
