MISSION STATEMENT

Bizarre Los Angeles’ goal is to preserve the city’s past by doing the following:

• Share forgotten or little known stories about Los Angeles and Southern California.
• Discuss (and fact-check) legends.
• Pay tribute to the Old Hollywood stars, both well-known and forgotten.
• Evoke nostalgia.
• Rebrand “old” locations by using powerful images and interesting trivia to arouse new interest.
• Help owners understand their property from a historic and marketing point-of-view.
• Advocate preservation.
• Inspire others to celebrate Los Angeles’ history through their own fiction and non-fiction writing, music, painting, cooking, interior designing, film making, research, etc.
