1970s Edwardian Style Dress by Concept VII. Designed by Ronald Kolodzie.
Kolodzie was a renown fashion designer known for designing stage costumes and for putting a contemporary spin on nostalgic styles. In the 1970s, Concept VII’s Bob Miller, a former singer-dancer for Kate Smith, hired him to design bold day and evening wear in the $100-$200 range. “What I wanted to do is give women dress shapes that are not strict definitions of their curves,” Kolodzie said in 1974.
Miller and Kolodzie’s Concept VII fashion line operated from 1971 to around 1977.
The dress was a perfect fit for Craig Owens’s steampunk-themed HAUNTED BY HISTORY photo shoot at the Pierpont Inn. It also blends well with the Women’s Black Gothic Steampunk Military Cotton Coat. Model: Renee Paulette.
Ideal for women who are approximately 5’7″ or 5’8″
