Looking for a cool classic horror film mug? We’ve got the Lon Chaney “London After Midnight” Mug for you.
About the film:
“London After Midnight” is a 1927 American silent mystery – horror film directed by Tod Browning. Stars Lon Chaney and Marceline Day.
Sadly, the film is lost…perhaps forever, thanks to a fire at MGM studios in 1965.
For the movie, Chaney adopts a pre-Dracula vampire look, which is amazing! He sported sharpened teeth and a hypnotic eye effect, thanks to a special wire fitting worn like a monocle.
He wanted his vampire look to be overly exaggerated in order to distinguish it from the other character disguises he used for the film.
London After Midnight is an original work by Tod Browning, who remade the film with Bela Lugosi as Mark of the Vampire in 1935.
